VIOLINIST · VIOLIST · MUSICOLOGIST
Writing

I write my own programme notes for most of my recitals and have also been regularly commissioned to provide such notes for many orchestral concerts.  I have, therefore, an extensive library of programme notes, which range in length from approximately 250 to 2000 words.  My work also appears in the CD booklets of my two recordings for EM Records: EMR CD001 and EMR CD003.

During my musicological research, I have authored papers and articles for the British Music Society, the Arthur Bliss Society, the English Music Festival, and for the Centre for the History of Music in Britain, the Empire and the Commonwealth (CHOMBEC).
